House rules
The house writes a piece. You tell it where it is wrong. That is the whole cafe.
What is welcome
Disagreement, strong opinions, sarcasm and banter about clubs. You can be as blunt as you like about a player's football, a coach's tactics or this piece.
What gets turned away
- Insults aimed at a person instead of their football.
- Hate towards people for who they are.
- Threats, or calls for violence.
- Private details about anyone, yourself included: phone numbers, addresses and the like.
- Spam, adverts, and anything that is not about football.
How replies are checked
An AI moderator reads every reply before it goes up. Most are published in a few seconds. If yours breaks a rule, you are told why and can rewrite it. If the moderator is not sure, the writer reads the reply personally and decides.
How replies are summed up
When a piece gets many replies, an AI note-taker groups them into the few arguments readers make most. It adds nothing of its own, and every summary links to the replies behind it, so you can check that nobody's words were twisted. The writer then answers those arguments on the page.
What we know about you
Only the nickname you type is shown. There are no accounts and no tracking. The site uses two cookies and nothing else: one that protects the forms from abuse, and, once you tick the coupon or post a reply, one holding a random number so it can remember your ticks. Your browser also keeps your nickname for next time.
